Hives are a red, raised, itchy skin rash that is sometimes triggered by an allergen. When an allergic reaction occurs, the body releases a protein called histamine. When histamine is released, the fluid flow out of the tiny blood vessels known as capillaries and accumulates in the skin. This causes a rash.
My back had hives and felt very itchy. Half an hour after applying Muscel and Hydro Cellsion, the hives and itchiness were gone!
